Google was founded by Larry Page & Sergey Brin while they were students at stanford university, google began in january 1996 as a research project by Larry Page who was then joined by Sergey Brin. the name "Google" had been originated from the mispelled word "Googol" which means the number represented by a one followed by one hundred zeros, before that the system had originally been nicknamed "backrub" because the system checked backlinks to estimate the importance of a site.In march 1999 the company moved into offices in Palo Alto. Later the company leased a complex of buildings in Mountain Veiw,California the company has remained at this location ever since. In 2005 Google entered into partnerships with other companies and government agencies to improve their production and services they made partnership with NASA Ames Research Center. 99% of Google's renevue is from its advertising programs.
