They reoffered him $250,00 for 75% of the buisness and making him an employee, but he turned down the deal and walked away empty handed. the deal they offered him i think was not a good offer to take up on, didnt benefit him that much. the company is nation wide now and he is in the process of qualifing the franchises.

Shark Tank:Happiness Products

Souls calling is a buisness that makes items to remind people to be their selves and be happy
some of the projects she makes are the "insperella umbrella" and the "connection bracelet" they all have sayings on the umbrella and the bracelet and flip flops and so on. she only made 18,000 in five years which dosent make it a succesful buisness, she got to emotionaly attatched to this buisness. so none of the entrepreneurs on shark tank would invest in her product for those reasons. They told her she should drop the buisness but she said she couldn't. i thought the buisness wasnt a very good idea, as it wouldnt sell as some people find it a bad idea.

Mr.poncho & euro club

Mr. poncho, is a buisness created by a couple they went on sharktank but the investors didn't think it was that useful so they didnt invest into it and the couple walked out empty handed, what it is is a normal cover case for your ipod and then a metal rubber type push out button to wrap your headphones around, they have their own website now. a euro club, is a club for golf created by a doctor, he created this product in inspiration of his patients, cause they told him he should make it, it is a club used to urinate in,not used for playing golf it has a green curtain to cover. But the sharks thought it was more of a gag joke then a real product so most of them backed out until the last investor decided to invest in it for 70% of the company giving him 25k for the making of the company, and he took the deal.

Google

Google was founded by Larry Page & Sergey Brin while they were students at stanford university, google began in january 1996 as a research project by Larry Page who was then joined by Sergey Brin. the name "Google" had been originated from the mispelled word "Googol" which means the number represented by a one followed by one hundred zeros, before that the system had originally been nicknamed "backrub" because the system checked backlinks to estimate the importance of a site.In march 1999 the company moved into offices in Palo Alto. Later the company leased a complex of buildings in Mountain Veiw,California the company has remained at this location ever since. In 2005 Google entered into partnerships with other companies and government agencies to improve their production and services they made partnership with NASA Ames Research Center. 99% of Google's renevue is from its advertising programs. greed vs getting it done

Greed is a terrible thing to have when running a company because it affects everyone around you, and the way you deal with your business and people wont want to work for you anymore.

Steve Jobs

What i have learned from Steve Jobs speech is that don't settle for less do what you love to do and make sure that you're interested in it. And that you don't have to go to college if that dosent make you happy and it dosent have what you want to do with your life. Also that starting your own buisness can be a struggle and there will be alot of bumps down the road but if you stick with it you will get through., for instance he got fired from his own company he started but he moved on and got through.

Richard Branson

What i have learned from Richard Branson the owner of virgin mobile companies is that you can do anything you set your mind to, be interested in the buisness and love what you do, and that you dont have to be extremely smart to start your own buisness.

Arnold Schwarzenegger

My thoughts on this documentary on Arnold Schwarzenegger is that hes very good at what he does, he had alot of obstacle's along the way with his accent and everything it was hard to get into the movie buisness because of that, the main thing is that he is very passionate at what he does, he has been an idol for many people, what i have learned from Arnold Shwarzenegger is that you can do anything you set your mind to.

strengths and weaknesses

i have learned a lot about my strengths and weaknesses that i really did not know about before, for the personality assesment. The strengths for the personality type melancholy: deep and thoughtfully, sensitive to others, appreaciation of beauty. the strengths for my other personality type phlegmatic: easygoing and relaxed, sympathetic and kind, the next one personalDNA assesment i found out that i am an advocating designer: designer meaning that i do things on the spur of the moment, also although i am pratical i am anything but boring. And advocating meaning that i am highly compassionate, and i have insight into what others are thinking or feeling. The next one we did was VIA survey of character strengths and my top five strengths are capacity to love and to be loved, social intelligence, appreaciation of beauty and excellence, honesty, authenticity and genuiness and the last one humour & playfulness. i have learned alot over these few tests
for instance i have learned over these personality tests that i have a strong appreaciation for beauty, and i am a very empathetic person, and theres certain things about myself that i need to control for instance im very moody, and i remember the negatives about certain things it made me understand myself a bit more.

killing the entreprenurial

What i have learned from Larry Ferrel after reading this article is that an entrepreneur is both an inventor and a promoter, and that every entrepreneur has a vision for instance if you're starting your own small business tomorrow your gonna have to figure out what your gonna have to do to make really good money, and your gonna have to think about customer and product, its all about the customers.

entrepreneurship 12

a person who truly inspires me is my dad he came from a poor family where they never really had a lot, why he inspires me is he came from nothing and made something he started his own business in 1992 chill-air conditioning he never had any handouts it went from a home business to being the biggest air conditioning/ refrigeration company in Chilliwack he sold the business in 2007 and now hes part owner of a hotel in Mexico.
